Nam et ipsa scientia potestas est (And thus knowledge itself is power)
-- Sir Francis Bacon.
Scientia Pro Publica (Science for the People) is now available for your reading pleasure! This is the second edition of the blog carnival that celebrates the best science, nature and medical writing in the blogosphere, and believe me, it is filled with lots of writing goodness. Be sure to visit and read it at Living the Scientific Life (Scientist, Interrupted), and send your recently published (within the previous 60 days) non-spammy, non-woo, non-advertizing writings for potential inclusion in the next edition. To send submissions to Scientia Pro Publica, either use this automated submission form or use this handy-dandy little widget on the right. Be sure to include the URL or "permalink", the title and a brief summary. The host for the third edition is Bob O'Hara, author of Deep Thoughts and Silliness, which is scheduled to be published on Monday, 4 May 2009.
As always, I am seeking hosts for upcoming issues so be sure to sign up here or leave a message in the comment thread at the actual carnival.
